We are looking for experienced and knowledgeable **retired banking professionals**with a strong background in **Letters of Credit (L.C.)** to join our team as consultants. This role is ideal for someone who has worked extensively in trade finance or international banking and is looking to share their expertise in a flexible, advisory capacity.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Review and analyze Letters of Credit and related trade finance documents.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams or clients on L.C. documentation, issuance, and compliance.
- Help identify risks and ensure adherence to UCP 600 and other applicable international standards.
- Assist in training sessions, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior staff on L.C. processes.
- Liaise with banks, clients, or trade partners as needed for smooth processing of L.C. transactions.
**Requirements**:
- Retired banking professional experience in trade finance or L.C. operations.
- Deep knowledge of UCP 600, Incoterms, ISBP, and other international trade regulations.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide expert-level advice.
**Preferred**:
- Experience in international trade, export/import documentation, or related consulting work.
- Previous role as Branch Manager, Trade Finance Officer, or similar.
