**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an ambitious **Chief Technology Officer (CTO)** to define and execute ISN’s technology vision, while building and leading a tech team from the ground up. As the CTO, you will be responsible for all technological aspects of the company, including platform development, technical strategy, and infrastructure. You’ll have the unique opportunity to build a talented team of engineers and create innovative solutions to scale ISN’s services globally.

This is an exciting role for someone eager to shape both the technology and the team, bringing ISN's mission to life through scalable, user-friendly, and secure products.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Build & Lead the Tech Team**: Assemble a skilled team of engineers and developers from scratch, recruiting talent across multiple disciplines (frontend, backend, DevOps, etc.).
- **Define the Technology Vision**: Set the technical direction of the company, ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and aligned with ISN’s business goals.
- **Develop the Core Product**: Oversee the development of ISN's student and agent portals, ensuring high performance and seamless user experience.
- **Cloud Infrastructure Management**: Set up and manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and automate the deployment processes.
- **Hands-On Development**: Be comfortable getting hands-on in the early stages, contributing to coding, system design, and problem-solving as needed.
- **Security & Compliance**: Ensure all systems meet stringent security standards and comply with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, FERPA).
- **Collaborate Across Teams**: Work closely with other departments to ensure technology solutions meet business and user needs.
- **Innovation**: Explore new technologies and ensure ISN stays competitive by integrating cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
- **Team Leadership & Development**: Provide mentorship to your growing team, establish development best practices, and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.

**Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of experience in software development and technology leadership.
- Proven experience as a CTO or senior technical leader, ideally in a startup or high-growth company.
- Demonstrated success in building tech teams from the ground up, recruiting and developing top talent.
- Strong expertise in both frontend and backend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Python, Ruby, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
- Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and API development.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a team and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, able to juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

**Nice to Have**:

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with data privacy regulations and security best practices.

Pay: From ₹700,000.00 per year
