- As a Proposal Writer, you will provide QA, compliance, and writing support for a team of Proposal Specialists who are responsible for managing and responding to RFIs/RFPs/RFQs (“RFXs”), analyzing RFX requirements and delivering eloquent, professional, persuasive proposals to public and private sector prospects. You will perform reviews of RFX submissions to ensure they are 100% compliant with the requirements and convey technical information in an understandable way that resonates with prospects.**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the team with messaging objectives like win themes in RFX responses and strategically positioning Aurigo to convey the company’s value proposition and differentiators.
- Partner, coordinate, review, and edit RFX input from stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Cloud Operations, Finance, Legal, and Professional Services.
- Translate technical solutions into effective proposal responses, quality check bid responses to ensure compelling and impeccable writing, and assist with pricing reviews. Also, help in strategically crafting clarification questions sent to prospects.
- Ensure that Aurigo’s proposals meet all mandatory requirements, such as properly completing vendor forms, formatting information according to RFX content requirements and company policy, and ensuring that Aurigo’s best interests are always represented.
- Be a point of escalation for the team and other stakeholders during the RFX lifecycle for gaps, questions, concerns, and poor or missing deliverables.
- Provide feedback to improve Aurigo’s RFX lifecycle and suggest new or revised content for inclusion in the library.
- Requirements:
- Relevant university/college level degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 5+ years of technical proposal writing experience in the private and public sectors
- Solid technical aptitude, knowledge, and understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Advanced mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint
- Must be able to assert influence and work cross-functionally at all levels of the organization with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to easily communicate complex ideas or concepts and tailor responses to the prospect’s specifications
- Expert with project management, time management, presentations, and written and verbal communication
- Exceptional critical thinker and able to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines while juggling competing priorities
- Able to jump in and independently manage proposals as assigned under special circumstances
- The position will be a hybrid role based out of Aurigo’s Austin, TX office

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- Understanding of graphic design and an eye for communicating content visually
- APMP or Shipley-certified
- Experience with a proposal management platform such as RFPIO or Loopio
