- Proposal Writer Location: New Delhi Reports to: Senior Bid Leaders Key responsibilities: Responsible for crafting compelling, high-quality, winning proposals – through clear and persuasive narratives. - Proposal writing - Create storyboards and outlines to ensure proposals/ bid responses align with RFP requirements and evaluation criteria - Translate operational, technical and functional inputs into clear and compelling and persuasive narratives - Tailor proposal content and conduct thorough reviews, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with evaluation criteria - Re-write/ edit and proof-read proposals/ bid responses ensuring clarity, consistency (including formatting guidelines, page limits, and other requirements) - Manage multiple proposal writing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality proposals - Continuous improvement - Develop and maintain a repository of proposal templates, boilerplate content, and best practices to streamline the proposal development process - Continuously improve proposal quality by incorporating feedback, lessons learned, and industry best practices. - Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in proposal writing and public sector procurement Qualification and experience: - Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication etcetera - APMP certified – at least at professional level (Association of Proposal Management Professionals is preferred - 3 - 5 years of experience in proposal writing in public sector with deep understanding of public sector procurement processes in key geographies, e.g., Europe, India, US etcetera - Experience working in global organizations is preferred Key competencies: Writing excellence; attention to detail; time management; teamwork.
