For the role of Finance Controller, we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The Finance Controller’s responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition;
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances;
- Overseeing and preparing income statements and balance sheets;
- Preparing, analyzing, and publishing timely monthly financial statements or when required;
- Providing the necessary forecast/ information at the right time in order to support imperative business decisions & execution;
- Sharing insights & analytics and supporting the leadership to make well-informed decisions to help move the company toward its mission and goals;
- Monitoring internal decision making, participating in business decisions and budgeting processes;
- Identifying efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business;
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting, creating and monitoring company policies and internal controls, especially spending controls, to safeguard company assets and reduce fraud;
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance, coordinating with external financial, compliance, and tax auditors;
- Supporting and guiding finance personnel on month-end and year-end close process;
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting in line with planned financial strategy;
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings;
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
- Streamlining, mentoring, and managing the Accounting and Financial staff and operations;
- Additional controller duties as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller in an MSME or a startup;
- 7+ years of overall Accounting and Finance experience and Finance Management;
- Has led a team of finance or accounting professionals and possesses good leadership skills;
