We are looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Controller to join our team. This position will report to the Financial Controller, and collaborate closely with the regional controller, international controllers and accounting hub.

The Assistant Finance Controller will play a key role in supporting the accuracy and completeness of accounting records in compliance with US GAAP, as well as ensuring tax compliance. This position will also contribute to driving improvements in the financial closing and reporting process on a global scale.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Finance Controller in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.- Assist with core controllership activities, including:
- Maintaining the general ledger.
- Supporting the month-end close process.
- Ensuring accuracy in intercompany reconciliations.
- Adhering to a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate tasks with external service providers and the internal international accounting service centre.
- Ensure compliance with all US tax-related matters, providing support to the Finance Controller.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures aimed at improving efficiency and ensuring compliance.
- Offer expertise on US tax regulations to support business operations.
- Collaborate with FP&A to produce monthly and quarterly forecasts and compare them against actuals.
- Provide proactive, cross-functional financial support across departments, maintaining a customer-service-focused approach.
- Offer local expertise in finance, tax, accounting, and reporting to aid decision-making processes.
- Work independently and efficiently with mínimal supervision, while coordinating closely with the Finance Controller.

**Qualifications**:

- 7+ years of experience in Accounting and Tax, with 2-3 years in a similar role.
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and US tax regulations.
- Experience working in the technology sector is an advantage.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
