**Job Description**:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, mission-driven Grant Coordinator to write, track and analyze the grant writing process in the Tennessee Region.

What this role does: Development Data Coordinator

Coordinate the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals. Research grant opportunities that match the goals and objectives of the organization. Gather information and coordinate/write grant proposals to government, corporations, foundations, and other funding opportunities. Maintain current data and boilerplate for grants, reports, and other projects. Develop and maintain effective, long-term relationships with grantors to facilitate approvals of grants. Follow up with grantors to determine/monitor grant status. Provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to volunteers and staff.

What you’ll need to have:
Education: High School or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state, and Red Cross system.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

The Team:
Partner with a team of twelve staff members (fundraisers and Executive Directors) to support the work within the Tennessee Region.
