Position Overview:
As a Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting scientific research, designing experiments, analyzing data, and providing insights to drive innovation and advancement in your respective field. Under broad supervision, responsible for a range of research activities in new product research, including the development of new methods, programs, and procedures in accordance with the overall business direction. Documents research findings. Role typically requires between 2 and 4 years of experience.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Conducts work in safe, respectful, and ethical manner.

Perform investigations and technology developments with mínimal supervision.

Identify new raw materials and other functional specifications to meet project objectives.

Perform chemical reactions to develop innovative materials.

Interacts and effectively communicates with cross functional team members.

Critically execute processes and procedures of technology projects.

Participates in the scale up from original design to production.

Conduct and troubleshoot materials and processing problems.

Document and provide project update reports, present results to peers and supervisor/manager either orally or in writing.

**Qualifications**

MSc Chemistry or MSc Material Science research experience in either an industrial R&D setup or in academia.

At least two years of research experience in an industrial R&D setup or University/Research Institute

Exposure to understanding of structure-property relationship in polymers and functional materials.

**Desirables**

In addition to MSc Chemistry, MTech in Material Science or MTech in Polymer technology could be an advantage**.**

Closely follow and evaluate scientific literature, publications, and draw conclusions for the company.

Exposure and understanding of surface modification of polymers and other materials and their structure property relationship.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
