**Job Title**: Accounting and Finance Intern

**Department**: Finance/Accounting

**Reports To**: Finance Manager/Accounting Manager

**About the Internship**:
This internship provides an excellent opportunity for highly motivated and analytical students to gain practical experience in the field of Accounting and Finance. Interns will work closely with the Finance/Accounting team, gaining valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of a dynamic educational institution.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Preparing financial reports and statements, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Analyzing financial data and identifying trends.
- Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Providing administrative support to the Finance/Accounting team as needed.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls.
- Participating in special projects as assigned.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and1 as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP)
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis
- Interest in the education sector
