
Export Documentation Executive

Job Overview
The Export Documentation Executive will be responsible for managing the complete documentation process for export shipments. This includes preparing all pre-shipment and post-shipment documents, coordinating with freight forwarders and banks, and ensuring compliance with international shipping and customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage export documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, certificates of origin, and Bill of Lading.
Coordinate with CHA (Custom House Agents), freight forwarders, transporters, and shipping lines for timely shipment.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of documents to banks under LC or DP/DA terms.
Track shipments and inform customers of dispatch and delivery status.
Handle pre
- and post-shipment documentation for customs clearance and bank negotiation.
Liaise with production, dispatch, and sales teams for order execution and shipment planning.
Monitor export documentation status and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
Maintain and update export records, trackers, and documentation files for audits.
Stay updated with export rules, government notifications, and documentation formats.
Follow up with clients for confirmation of documents and payment timelines.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / International Trade / Logistics or equivalent.
2-5 years of experience in export documentation, preferably in the têxtile or manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of shipping documents, INCO terms, and export compliance.
Familiarity with DGFT, customs procedures, and LC documentation preferred.
Good coordination, communication, and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in documentation.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
