We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Executive to join our team at Orchids International School, Jodhpur. The Facility Executive will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our school's facilities to ensure a safe, comfortable, and conducive learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Facility Maintenance**:
- Regular inspection of school premises to identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate and oversee repairs, renovations, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes.
2. **Vendor Management**:
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors for facility-related services.
- Obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and manage service agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality of work.
3. **Inventory Management**:
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials necessary for facility operations.
- Procure necessary items in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent shortages and wastage.
4. **Security and Safety**:
- Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard school property and occupants.
- Conduct regular safety drills and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
5. **Utilities Management**:
- Monitor and manage utilities consumption, including electricity, water, and gas.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs and environmental impact.
- Address any issues related to utilities infrastructure promptly.
6. **Space Management**:
- Optimize the use of available space within the school premises.
- Coordinate room allocations and setups for events, meetings, and activities.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of all indoor and outdoor spaces.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in facility management or a similar role, preferably in an educational institution.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in facility management.
