Store In-charge

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Inventory Management**:

- Oversee the receipt, storage, and issue of materials and products within the store.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure proper inventory control, preventing stockouts or excess inventory.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical stock with inventory records to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor the expiry dates of perishable items and ensure stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO).
- Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing materials/products, including product codes, quantities, and delivery details.
- **Stock Ordering & Replenishment**:

- Coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock levels when necessary, based on consumption trends and lead times.
- Ensure that stock is ordered in a timely manner to prevent shortages or disruptions in operations.
- Review and update reorder levels based on changing demand or seasonal trends.
- **Store Organization & Maintenance**:

- Ensure the store is organized, clean, and follows a logical system for easy access to materials or products.
- Maintain proper storage conditions to ensure the safety and preservation of items, especially sensitive or fragile goods.
- Ensure that shelves, racks, and bins are organized and labeled according to company standards.
- **Staff Supervision & Training**:

- Supervise store assistants and other staff members, providing guidance on store procedures and safety protocols.
- Train new employees on the proper handling, storage, and inventory management practices.
- Allocate tasks and ensure the team works efficiently to meet operational targets.
- **Material Handling**:

- Oversee the proper handling and movement of goods within the store, ensuring the safe lifting and transporting of materials.
- Ensure that appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, trolleys) is available and maintained for handling large or heavy items.
- Ensure safety measures are in place to prevent accidents and injuries during the handling of goods.
- **Record Keeping & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate documentation of all goods received, stored, and dispatched from the store.
- Ensure that purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices are filed and maintained for easy retrieval.
- Prepare periodic inventory reports and submit them to the management team for review.
- Update stock records regularly and keep a clear audit trail for all transactions.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations in the store and warehouse area.
- Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure that safety equipment is readily available.
- Monitor adherence to company policies and procedures related to the storage and handling of goods.
- **Coordination with Other Departments**:

- Liaise with the procurement team to ensure that materials are available for production or sales.
- Work closely with the sales and production teams to ensure that the store's stock aligns with operational requirements.
- Coordinate with the transportation team for the timely dispatch of products to customers or production lines.
- **Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position with standard office hours.
- The position may require occasional overtime or weekend work, depending on operational needs.
- The role may involve standing, walking, and lifting items up to a certain weight (depending on the type of store).
- Safety equipment (gloves, helmets, etc.) must be worn when handling materials or working in specific areas.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
