
Respiratory Technician

**Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Care**: Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians, including operating ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP machines, and oxygen concentrators.
- **Equipment Management**: Set up, calibrate, and maintain respiratory care equipment such as BiPAP, CPAP, oxygen concentrators, and nebulizers.
- **Home Visits**: Perform home-based installations of respiratory equipment, educate patients and caregivers on equipment usage, and provide troubleshooting assistance.
- **Monitoring**: Monitor and evaluate patient response to therapy and adjust treatment as needed. Conduct follow-up assessments and ensure patient satisfaction.
- **Troubleshooting & Repairs**: Diagnose issues with respiratory equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
- **Training**: Provide training to patients, families, and healthcare providers on the proper use of respiratory equipment and care techniques.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of patient care, therapy progress, equipment usage, and any issues related to respiratory care.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond promptly to equipment or therapy-related emergencies, offering on-call support when required.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with safety standards, medical protocols, and company policies.
**Key Requirements**:
- **Education**: Diploma or Certification in Respiratory Therapy, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience as a Respiratory Technician or in a related healthcare role. Prior experience working with BiPAP, CPAP, and oxygen concentrators is preferred.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in setting up and maintaining respiratory equipment, with strong troubleshooting skills.
- **Customer Service**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
- **Travel**: Willingness to travel within NCR to visit patients' homes and healthcare facilities.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure quality in all aspects of respiratory care.
