Job Description: Import-Export Specialist

Position: Import-Export Specialist

Location: Gandhinagar

Experience: Minimum 3 years in import-export operations

Employment Type: Full-time

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage import-export documentation, including preparing shipping documents, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with import-export regulations, including tariffs, trade agreements, and customs requirements.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, including sales, procurement, and production teams, to coordinate import-export activities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of import-export transactions and ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.
- Analyse import-export data and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in import-export regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members involved in import-export operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in import-export operations, preferably in manufacture industry.
- Strong understanding of import-export documentation, customs clearance procedures, and international trade regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and import-export software/tools.
- Certification in import-export management or customs brokerage (preferred).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

- Yearly bonus
