Job Description: Sales Representative - Food Industry

**Salary**: ₹16,000 to ₹35,000 take-home (depending on experience)
**Experience**: Minimum 3+ years in a food company within the same territory
**Locations**:

- Sagar, Vidisha, Hoshangabad
- Dewas, Harda
- Gwalior, Chambal
- Khargone, Barwani, Indore

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales and Business Development**:

- Identify and target potential customers within the assigned territory.
- Achieve sales targets by promoting and selling food products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other channel partners.
- **Market Analysis**:

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide feedback and insights to the management to enhance product offerings and sales strategies.
- **Customer Support**:

- Address customer queries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- **Operational Tasks**:

- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Ensure timely payment collections and manage outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products.
- **Promotional Activities**:

- Execute promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives to boost sales.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and events to increase brand visibility.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the food industry in the specified territory.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the local market and customer base in the assigned locations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in FMCG or food product sales is highly desirable.
