- Ability to mentor and advise students
- Strong commitment to research and publication
- Passion for inspiring and guiding students to reach their full potential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering engaging and effective courses in the field of Pedagogy of Tamil
- Conducting research and publishing in the field
- Mentoring and advising students
- Engaging in academic and professional development activities
- Participating in departmental and college-wide initiatives
- Collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and programs
- Maintaining strong relationships with alumni, other colleges and universities, and industry partners
- Staying current with advancements in the field of Pedagogy of Tamil and education.
