**Qualifications**:

- Ph.D. in Mathematics Education or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience teaching and conducting research in pedagogy of mathematics
- Strong teaching and communication skills
- A record of publications in the field of pedagogy of mathematics
- Experience in leading professional service activities in mathematics education

**Responsibilities**:

- Teaching and delivering course content in mathematics education to undergraduate and graduate students
- Developing and revising course materials, syllabi, and assessments in accordance with best practices in pedagogy of mathematics
- Conducting and publishing original research in mathematics education and contributing to the advancement of the field
- Mentoring and advising students in their academic and professional development
- Engaging in service activities related to mathematics education, such as serving on committees and presenting at conferences
- Collaborating with colleagues within and outside of the department to develop interdisciplinary programs and initiatives
- Participating in departmental, college, and university committees and initiatives
- Maintaining currency in the field of pedagogy of mathematics through ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
