Site Supervisor(Horticulture)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Management**:

- Supervise daily operations on horticulture projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with the project manager and other team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
- Ensure all safety protocols and industry regulations are followed on-site.
- **Team Supervision**:

- Lead a team of horticulturists, landscapers, and laborers, ensuring that they are properly trained and motivated to perform their tasks effectively.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Assign tasks to team members and monitor work performance.
- **Site Maintenance**:

- Oversee the planting, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, and maintenance of trees, plants, and flowers.
- Monitor the health and growth of plants and ensure proper care practices are followed.
- Ensure that all horticultural tools and equipment are maintained and used correctly.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect the site regularly to ensure that work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Identify issues such as pest infestations, disease, or plant stress, and take corrective action.
- Provide reports on the status of the project, including plant health, growth, and any issues encountered.
- **Communication and Reporting**:

- Maintain communication with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management regarding project status, labor needs, and materials required.
- Address any client concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
- **Inventory and Resource Management**:

- Ensure the availability and proper storage of horticultural supplies such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and equipment.
- Track the usage of materials and report on stock levels to ensure the smooth continuation of work.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in all work activities.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety measures by the team.
- Identify and mitigate any hazards on the site.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6month of experience in a supervisory role within the horticulture, landscaping, or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of plant, cultivation practices, soil types, irrigation systems, and pest management.
- Experience with landscaping tools and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance regulations.
- Certification in horticulture or landscaping (preferred).

**Working Conditions**:

- This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required depending on project deadlines.
