Manning Incharge

Oversee the recruitment, selection, and assignment of qualified crew members to vessels.
- Ensure that crew members meet the required qualifications, experience, and certifications for their roles.
- Ensure compliance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations, Flag State requirements, and company policies for all crew members.
- Coordinate crew rotations and ensure vessels are adequately manned with the right crew at all times.
- Monitor crew contracts, extensions, and repatriations to maintain continuous vessel operations.
- Ensure that crew members receive proper training and maintain up-to-date certifications according to the latest regulations.
- Collaborate with training institutions and coordinate onboard/offshore training programs.
- Ensure all crew-related documentation (contracts, certifications, medical records) is maintained in compliance with maritime laws and company standards.
- Ensure timely submission of crew reports to relevant authorities (Flag States, Port State Control).
- Ensure proper welfare, safety, and well-being of crew members during their assignments.
- Address any concerns or issues raised by the crew, including working conditions, food, and health services.
- Work closely with the vessel managers and operations team to ensure crew availability in line with operational requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments such as technical, operations, and HR to address crew-related issues affecting vessel operations.
- Track and assess the performance of crew members, taking necessary actions in case of performance gaps.
- Report crew performance, incidents, and any irregularities to senior management and suggest improvements.
- Monitor crew-related costs, including recruitment, training, wages, and repatriation expenses, ensuring efficient budget utilization.
- Recommend cost-effective solutions while maintaining operational excellence

**Minimum 3 years of shore experience in a similar role within the Ship Management or Crew Management sector.**

**Previous seafaring experience as a Master Mariner with a strong understanding of vessel operations and crew management practices.**

**In-depth knowledge of international maritime regulations (STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, etc.).**
