Payroll Executive

The Payroll Executive will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and related activities within the organization. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages, salaries, and benefits to employees while complying with relevant laws and regulations. Will also handle payroll inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies.
**Key Responsibilities**
Process payroll on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Calculate wages, salaries, bonuses, commissions, and other types of compensation based on employee records and approved timesheets.
Manage payroll deductions, including taxes, insurance premiums, retirement contributions, and other withholdings, ensuring proper documentation and remittance.
Review and verify payroll data to identify and correct discrepancies or errors before processing.
Generate and distribute payroll reports to management and other relevant stakeholders as needed.
Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding payroll matters, providing timely and accurate assistance and resolution.
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, regulations, and tax rates to ensure compliance and implement necessary adjustments.
Prepare and maintain payroll records, reports, and documentation for auditing purposes.
Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment of payroll processes with organizational goals and objectives.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll software systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Participate in payroll-related projects and initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of payroll operations.
Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information and sensitive employee data.
**Qualifications**:
Master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience of 3-5 years in payroll administration, preferably in a medium to large-sized organization.
Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
