Position Summary: The MIS Sales & Sales Coordinator is responsible for integrating Management Information Systems (MIS) into the sales processes, coordinating sales activities, and providing essential support to the sales team. This role is focused on ensuring accurate data management, optimizing sales operations, and supporting the team in achieving their sales targets. Key Responsibilities: 1. MIS Sales Support: - Implement and manage MIS tools to track and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and customer interactions. - Maintain sales databases, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility. - Generate and analyze reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales trends, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs). - Use data to identify sales opportunities, improve processes, and support decision-making. - Collaborate with IT to ensure the MIS systems align with the sales department's needs and are functioning optimally. 2. Sales Coordination: - Assist the sales team in the preparation of proposals, contracts, presentations, and other sales materials. - Coordinate sales meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly. - Monitor sales targets and generate regular reports for the sales team and management. - Maintain and update the CRM system with customer information and sales activities, ensuring consistency between CRM and MIS. 3. Administrative Support: - Prepare and manage sales documents such as invoices, quotes, and contracts using MIS tools. - Keep organized records of all sales-related documents, customer interactions, and inventory. - Support the creation of sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management, utilizing MIS-generated data. - Assist in onboarding and training new sales team members on MIS and CRM tools. 4. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with IT, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of MIS into sales processes. - Communicate effectively with internal teams to meet customer requirements and sales goals. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of data-driven sales strategies. 5. Market Research and Analysis: - Utilize MIS tools to conduct market research, identifying potential customers and analyzing market trends. - Monitor competitors and provide insights to the sales team on industry developments using data analysis. - Assist in developing data-driven sales strategies and tactics based on comprehensive market analysis. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field. - Proven experience in sales coordination or MIS-related roles. - Strong proficiency in MIS tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Customer-focused with a passion for leveraging data to improve sales processes.
