**Job Responsibility**:

- **Inspecting Garments**: Thoroughly inspecting garments at various stages of production, including pre-production, in-process, and final inspection, to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- **Checking Fabric**: Examining fabric quality, color, texture, and weight to ensure they meet the required standards and match the approved samples.
- **Checking Stitching and Seams**: Inspecting stitching, seams, hems, and other construction details to ensure they are uniform, secure, and free from defects such as loose threads, skipped stitches, or puckering.
- **Evaluating Embellishments and Trims**: Assessing the quality and placement of embellishments, trims, buttons, zippers, and other accessories to ensure they are properly attached and meet design specifications.
- **Measuring Dimensions**: Taking measurements of garments to ensure they adhere to size specifications and fit standards.
- **Identifying Defects**: Identifying and documenting any defects, flaws, or irregularities in garments, fabric, or accessories, and categorizing them according to severity.
- **Maintaining Records**: Maintaining detailed records of inspections, including photographs, measurements, and written reports, to track quality issues and trends over time.
- **Communicating with Production Team**: Collaborating with production managers, supervisors, and quality control teams to communicate inspection results, discuss quality concerns, and implement corrective actions.
- **Implementing Quality Standards**: Ensuring compliance with quality control procedures, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- **Conducting Audits**: Conducting periodic audits of production processes, equipment, and facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- **Providing Feedback**: Providing feedback and training to production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices to improve overall quality awareness and performance.
- **Resolving Issues**: Investigating and resolving quality-related issues, such as customer complaints, returns, or rejections, in a timely and effective manner to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- **Monitoring Trends**: Monitoring industry trends, technological advancements, and customer preferences related to garment quality and incorporating relevant changes into quality control procedures.
- **Ensuring Compliance**: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, ethical standards, and environmental sustainability practices throughout the production process.

Overall, the garment line quality checker plays a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality of garments, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding the reputation of the brand or manufacturer.

Pay: ₹18,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
