Accounts Payable Executive

**Roles and Responsibilities**

ElasticRun is a Deep-Reach Kirana Commerce Platform, unlocking the next wave of consumption in rural India. The platform aggregates Brands and Kirana stores, helping businesses to reach traditionally unserved stores, get permanent shelf space and then mind space of consumers. Technology is at the heart of our platform, a demand generation and fulfillment engine, and a crowdsourced logistics network; that makes it possible to serve small ticket sizes of individual stores.**Roles & Responsibilities:
- Proven working experience as Accounts Payable
- Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing, and tax purposes.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software / ERP
- Proficiency in English and MS Office
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Postgraduate in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

**Day-to-Day Duties**:

- Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices, or receiving signatures
- Assemble and review invoices to be completed for payment
- Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices, or correspondence necessary for files
- Type periodic reports and other records
- Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments
- Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers
- Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amounts, and coding per accounting policies and procedures
- Reconcile bank statements
- Input daily bookkeeping and record keeping
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors
