**Job Title**: Bakery Chef
**Location**: Andheri
**Reports To**: Bakery Manager / Head Chef

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities1. Baking and Preparation**
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty items, according to recipes.
- Innovate and experiment with new recipes and techniques to expand the product range.
- Ensure consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation of baked items.

**2. Quality Control**
- Monitor the quality of ingredients and ensure they are fresh and up to standard.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure finished products meet quality and aesthetic expectations.
- Adjust recipes and techniques as needed to maintain product quality.

**3. Kitchen Operations**
- Manage daily production schedules and ensure all baked goods are prepared on time.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Organize and maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

**4. Inventory Management**
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and baking supplies.
- Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory to avoid shortages or wastage.
- Minimize waste by utilizing ingredients efficiently and adhering to portion control.

**5. Compliance and Safety**
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to kitchen safety protocols.

**6. Team Collaboration**
- Work closely with other kitchen staff and bakers to coordinate production schedules.
- Train and mentor junior bakers or assistants as required.
- Support the team in high-demand periods and during special events or promotions.

**7. Customer Engagement (if applicable)**
- Occasionally interact with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with the management team to customize orders or develop new products based on customer feedback.

**QualificationsEducation and Experience**
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry Arts (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience as a baker or pastry chef.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of baking techniques and products.

**Skills**
- Expertise in baking and pastry techniques, including bread making, cake decorating, and confectionery.
- Strong knowledge of baking equipment and tools.
- Creativity and an eye for detail in presentation and flavor profiles.
- Time management and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.

**Personal Attributes**

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
