**Main Duties & Responsibilities**

**Procurement Planning**
- Receive Purchase Requisition Notes (PRN) from Production team
- Make list of available material and informing the same to Production Team
- Make list of items to procure
- Planning of dispatch for parts to be sent for machining
- Coordinating with vendors for receipt of machined parts on time
- Prepare a procurement schedule as per orders, BOM, existing stock levels and demand forecasts
- Plan activities as per the procurement schedule to ensure that production schedule runs smoothly
- Ensure consumable items required on regular basis are stocked as per Minimum Stock Level and are ordered once the item goes below MSL

**Procurement Operations**
- Ensure quotations are received in time
- Ensure that the products ordered from vendors PAN India are received on time
- Ensure records of purchase orders raised are maintained
- Ensure purchase files are maintained in an organized manner
- Ensure price lists are maintained in an organized manner
- Coordinate and follow up with suppliers, as and when required, for ordering of material and ensuring that all materials are received in time
- Build good working relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure work happens by your word
- Maintain payment schedules and keep track of availability of funds by following up with accounts
- Authorize advance payments invoices of suppliers
- Keep contract files and use them as reference for the future
- Maintain database of details of purchase orders in Excel.
- Respond to suppliers’ queries regarding payment status

**Vendor Development**
- Ascertain the best raw materials and their suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
- Attend meetings and trade conferences to study the latest trends in the industry
- Source and partner with trustworthy suppliers
- Collaborate with key persons at the suppliers to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Invite quotes from suppliers and evaluate the same using comparison charts
- Negotiate quotes with suppliers to secure win-win terms and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of material and the time of delivery
- Prepare contracts with suppliers
- Discuss and finalize credit terms
- Identify vendors for annual supply contracts
- Monitor supply schedules and quality levels

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
