Position Summary

At Heads Up For Tails, we see editing as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We are looking for a highly creative editor who can take footage and create visual stories for both ads and social media.

Collaborating with multiple teams at our company, the editor should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into video deliverables.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create engaging visual designs for retail environments, events, and print materials that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams for a wide range of video materials, communication, gifs and marketing materials.
- Obtain input from management, ensuring the deliverable meets organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately.
- Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with the marketing team, meeting deadlines and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects.
- Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve video content.
- Update and maintain internal databases of videos.
- The ability to multitask is preferred.
- Stay informed about retail design trends and print production techniques to optimize creative outputs

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- 2+ years of work experience as a Video Editor and Image Editor.
- Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop; knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of motion graphics, including typography, shape animation, and masking.
- Open to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Agency background is an added advantage.
