- Develop and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Supervise drivers, assign routes, and ensure adherence to schedules and safety protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with transportation laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Coordinate transportation of goods and materials between various locations, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Monitor transportation expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
- Identify potential risks in transportation operations and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of transportation activities with production, logistics, and customer service teams.
- Liaise with transportation service providers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate vendor performance.

**Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in transportation management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
