Job Description for IT Recruiter

Key Responsibilities:

- **Job Posting and Marketing**:

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and skills in demand within the IT sector.
- **Onboarding Support**:

- Assist with the onboarding process by helping new hires complete necessary paperwork and preparing them for their first day.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:
Skills and Qualifications:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- **Experience**: 2+ years of experience in IT recruitment, preferably in the technology or software development industries.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with common IT roles, programming languages, technical skills (e.g., Java, Python, SQL, Networking), and industry trends.
- **Organization and Time Management**: Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- **Tools and Platforms**: Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other recruitment tools.

Preferred Skills:

- **Technical Understanding**: A basic understanding of IT terminology and the technical skills required for various IT positions (e.g., development, IT support, cybersecurity).
- **Certifications**: Recruiting certifications such as Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) or LinkedIn Recruiter certification can be advantageous.
- **Diversity and Inclusion**: Experience in recruiting diverse talent and fostering inclusive hiring practices.
