**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of Italian dishes (pasta, pizza, antipasti, salads, sauces, etc.).
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Maintain mise-en-place for the assigned section before and during service.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and menu execution.
- Uphold food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
- Assist with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Report any maintenance issues or shortages promptly to the supervisor.
- Learn and develop skills in authentic Italian cooking techniques.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitude in the kitchen.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Commis in a professional kitchen (Italian cuisine preferred).
- Basic knowledge of Italian ingredients, sauces, and cooking methods.
- Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn from senior chefs.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
