### **About the Role**:

### **Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the daily operations of the maker space, including tool and equipment maintenance.
- Train and guide students, educators, and visitors in safely using tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, woodworking tools, soldering kits, electronics, and robotics kits.
- Support hands-on learning experiences, including Beyond Box's **STEAM workshops, project-based learning activities, and challenges**.
- Help manage maker space inventory and ensure proper stocking of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Encourage collaboration and creative problem-solving among participants.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic technical issues with equipment.
### **Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Experience in a maker space, fabrication lab, or similar setting.
- Proficiency in operating maker tools such as 3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters, power tools, and electronic kits.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols for handling tools and equipment.
- Passion for STEAM education and hands-on learning.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to beginners in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or leading workshops is a plus.
- Knowledge of coding, robotics, and circuit design is a plus.
