**Junior Oracle Applications DBA and System Administrator**

**Responsibilities**:

- Work on daily database administration tasks, including:User and security management (creating users, assigning roles, managing access)
- Backup and recovery procedures (performing scheduled backups, restoring data in case of incidents)
- Datafile management (adding, removing, resizing datafiles)
- Monitoring database performance and identifying potential issues
- Implementing basic troubleshooting procedures
- Document existing database procedures and configurations.
- Participate in database migrations and upgrades (as assigned).
- Learn and adhere to established database security best practices.
- Work collaboratively with the IT team and other departments to resolve database-related issues.

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of experience in a database administration role.
- Proven understanding of relational database concepts (schemas, tables, indexes, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Oracle SQL for basic querying and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with Oracle database backup and recovery procedures.
- Strong understanding of data security principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with Oracle Applications (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., SQL*Plus, Bash scripting)
- Experience with database performance tuning concepts
- Knowledge of Other DBs like mysql, postgres, mongodb, etc.

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
