Knowledge of PL/SQL, TSQL programming, Oracle Autonomous Database, and Oracle Golden Gate will be an added advantage.

The position will be based in India.

**Title**:Database Administrator I (IC1)**

We are hiring Database Administrators (DBA) for this team and as a DBA, you will be responsible for building, managing, and supporting databases predominantly using SQL Server. You will have to work on new project installations, Database release upgrades, and/or database performance management projects. Work involves interaction with end customers and Installation and Support teams, troubleshooting of customer issues, and providing solutions.

Knowledge of PL/SQL, TSQL programming, Oracle Autonomous Database, and Oracle Golden Gate will have an added advantage.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in providing 24x7 production database support
- Experience as DBA SQL Server 2008/12/14 /16 /19
- Hands-on experience in System DBA tasks, TSQL Programming, High Availability, Performance Tuning, SQL Server Architecture
- Strong technically oriented background
- Experience with RDBMS technologies: SQL Server.

**Preferred**:

- TSQL Coding, PowerShell Scripting, Automation/Enhancements
- Knowledge of any other RDBMS viz. Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Experience in OCI and Linux will have an added advantage. Certification ITIL, SQL Server certifications.

**Expectations**:

- Excellent Problem-solving, Troubleshooting, and Performance Tuning skills.
- Triage and troubleshoot database alerts and issues, identify the root cause and implement corrective actions
- Ability to diagnose & troubleshoot problems and suggest solutions and improvements.
- Strong customer relationship skills (professional & polished)
- Work might demand extended working hours/weekend support and might require working in Shifts Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed

- MySQL Server Database Health and History
- Database Migration & Upgradation, Replication, Filtration, and Transformation of Data.
- Database Server Configurations, High Availability configurations
- Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting
- Evaluate and implement process and technology improvements to enhance the availability, capacity, and performance of database systems.
- Triage and troubleshoot complex database issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
