Job Title: Bakery Commis 2/3 Chef
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of bakery items, following recipes and established techniques.
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistency and quality in finished products.
- Assist in shaping, proofing, and baking bread and pastry doughs to perfection.
- Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, fillings, and toppings as required.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment and tools in a safe and sanitary manner, including ovens, mixers, and pastry brushes.
- Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, and notifying supervisors of shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of bakery items.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, hygiene, and quality control.
- Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a bakery or pastry kitchen preferred.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques, including mixing, shaping, and baking.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality baked goods.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from senior chefs.
**Salary**: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
