SCM - Warehousing, Logistics & Material Management - Vertical Head

**Job Purpose**

As the Vertical Head of Warehousing, Logistics, and Material Management, this role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all warehousing and logistics operations within the organization. The aim of the role is to ensure efficient management of inventory, smooth and cost-effective flow of goods, and the implementation of best practices in material management. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in supply chain management, warehousing, logistics, and material handling. By ensuring the efficient and effective management of warehousing, logistics, and material handling, the Vertical Head will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's supply chain performance, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction.

**Key Result Areas/Accountabilities**
- **Warehousing**
- Develop short term & long-term strategy for Warehousing of VIL to drive business synergy with focus on consolidation, space optimization and effective inventory management
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of warehousing and logistics operations
- Finalization of Management Charges for Capex and Opex 3PL warehousing agencies
- **Logistics**
- Responsible for finalization of Third-Party Logistics partners including selection, SLAs and KPIs and performance monitoring.
- Finalization of rates, contracts with pan India logistics partners and facilitate effective implementation at Circles.
- Consolidation of partners to drive efficiency in terms of operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Coordinate with logistics providers to resolve any issues related to transportation and delivery.
- Overall governance and monitoring of Logistics cost optimization, partners performances and circle performance in transportation and logistics area
- **Material Management**
- Manage detailed project plans for the delivery and installation of all technology equipments pan India based on 4G/5G rollout timelines.
- Coordinate with OEMs, cluster procurement leads, technology project planning managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Schedule and monitor delivery timelines to ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact equipment delivery or installation
- Monitor and expedite the movement of materials and products through the supply chain to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to address and resolve delivery issues and delays.
- **S&OP Coordination**:

- Collaborate with Finance, Technology team to align supply chain activities with project rollout and operational plans.
- Provide updates to management on delivery status and potential supply chain disruptions during S&OP meetings.
- Adjust supply chain plans based on S&OP feedback to meet changing business needs.
- **Inventory Control**:

- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
