**Responsibilities of a Steward/ Waiter**
- Greet and escort customers to their tables
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
- Inform customers about the day’s specials
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Take accurate food and drinks orders from the table, take-away orders and if need be over phone
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- Serve food and drink orders
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
- Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
- Follow all relevant health department regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- To ensure guests have an great dining experience by providing stellar customer service
- To be polite with the customers under any circumstances

**Requirements and skills**
- Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system
- To have Attentiveness and patience for customers
- To Multi-task various front-of-the-house duties and to collect the bill
- To have Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- To be a team player with team spirit and to be able to effectively communicate with the Kitchen Staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly
- To have Basic math skills
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- To have Excellent presentation skills
- Flexibility to work in shifts

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Rotational shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Overtime pay

- Shift allowance

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Laxmi Nagar, Delhi - 110092, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:
