- **MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
Logistics & Warehouse Controller work in central warehouse where he/she supervise the delivery receipt, dispatching, and storage of goods. The person is also responsible for inter branch stock transfer from the central branch warehouse to other branches. The Logistics & Warehouse Controller manages all aspects of an organization's logistics management function to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials to the destination. Implements an overall strategy, metrics, and processes to deploy an optimized logistic network and operations. Being a Logistics & Warehouse Controller oversees critical and related inventory, distribution, and transportation operations that support the achievement of organizational goals and KPIs for product delivery and customer satisfaction. The Logistics & Warehouse Controller is also responsible for the returns/damages in transit claims process.

Responsible to ensure that Shipment of the products will be done to the customer site without any delay

Responsible to resolve complex issues happening in the warehouse & also report to the top management

Responsible to verify & assess all the delivery slips before loading to the customer site

Responsible to detect errors in process & make appropriate corrections there by ensure no errors in shipment.

Responsible to assist and support Inventory dep’t & Dispatch dep’t whenever necessary.

Responsible to monitor the attendance & performance of the loading workers.

Responsible to ensure minimum 95 % fulfillment accuracy rate, that is the delivery should be successfully completed without any issues.

Responsible to ensure that the products should not be damaged during loading and unloading.

Responsible to ensure 100 % inventory accuracy, that is the system stock & physical stock is same by managing theft, damage, miscalculations, shortages on the supplier’s side etc.

Responsible for proper management of sales return register & follow a proper system in case of sales return.

Responsible to manage the bulk loads from the port, arrange the products in proper places, check the items & enters the details in the register. There should not be any errors or deviations in the GRN which will be given to purchase department for entries.

**Review and Reporting**

Responsible for overseeing whole team meeting and provide suggestions, decisions and actions.

Responsible to prepare & submit the daily and monthly reports to the management without any fail & errors

Responsible to ensure the proper management of registers & other files

**Inter - Warehouse transfer of stock**

Responsible to ensure the on-time delivery of stocks from central warehouse to the godown of branches as per their requirements

Responsible to coordinate and communicate with the godown -in charge of the branches related with the stock transfer.

**Operational Efficiency**

Develop and maintain strong relationships with everyone connected to the logistics process as it is an integral aspect of the Logistics & Warehouse Controller role is to develop and maintain strong relationships with everyone connected to the logistics process.

The logistics & Warehouse Controller needs to successfully oversee that all completed orders are shipped on time without fail.

Maintain transportation logs, customer service logs, and safety records for future references and records.

Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers for getting the best rates of transportation.
