**Job Description: Electrical Assistant**

**Position Summary**: The Electrical Assistant supports electricians and electrical teams by assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This role involves working with electrical wiring, circuit breakers, panels, and other electrical components, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, outlets, and circuit boards.
- Help troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly and in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in conducting preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and components to minimize downtime.
- Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies required for electrical work.
- Follow electrical blueprints and schematics to assist in electrical installations and repairs.
- Support electricians in testing electrical circuits and systems using specialized tools and meters.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all electrical work is performed according to industry safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in the installation and testing of electrical panels, wiring, and electrical fixtures.
- Record work activities, including time, materials, and tasks completed, to ensure proper documentation.
- Help electricians with the setup and preparation of electrical jobs, including material handling and setting up tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site, ensuring all safety measures are in place.
- Participate in training and development activities to improve technical skills and safety awareness.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in electrical work is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety protocols.
- Hands-on experience in assisting with electrical installations and repairs is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Good understanding of electrical safety standards and practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings, and perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with electricians, supervisors, and other team members.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately.

**Working Conditions**:

- May involve working in a variety of environments, including construction sites, factories, or residential areas.
- Potential exposure to electrical hazards, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols.
- Work may require physical activity such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- May require working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Some weekend or evening work may be required, depending on the schedule and job demands.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
