**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Policy Making and Research Intern to join our team. This internship provides an exceptional opportunity for individuals interested in policy analysis, research, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

**Responsibilities**:
**Policy Research**: Conduct in-depth research on various policy issues, including analyzing existing policies, regulatory frameworks, and potential areas for improvement.

**Data Collection and Analysis**: Gather and analyze relevant data to inform policy recommendations. This may involve quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques.

**Legislative Review**: Stay abreast of legislative developments, proposed bills, and regulatory changes to understand their potential impact on the organization.

**Report Generation**:Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing research findings, policy analyses, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.

**Stakeholder Engagement**:Collaborate with internal teams, external experts, and stakeholders to gather insights and perspectives on policy issues.

**Policy Development**:Assist in the development and drafting of policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with relevant regulations.

**Presentation and Communication**:Present research findings and policy recommendations to internal teams, management, and other stakeholders through written reports and presentations.

**Project Management**:Contribute to the planning and execution of policy-related projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.

**Policy Advocacy**:Support advocacy efforts by preparing materials, conducting background research, and participating in engagements with policymakers and advocacy groups.

**Ad Hoc Tasks**:Assist with additional tasks related to policy development, research, and strategic initiatives as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with policy analysis frameworks and research methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Passion for understanding and addressing societal challenges through effective policy.
