**Reports to**: Procurement Team Lead

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Research potential vendors
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Liaise with store, material planning division and other relevant departments to ensure all progress of orders and requisition are well communicated
- Respond to internal customers and suppliers inquiries about orders status, changes or cancellations
- Process purchase requisitions/ orders within purchasing authority

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
- At least 6 months of experience in purchasing/ procurement of heavy industrial equipment, preferably in manufacturing industry
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating or liaising with vendors) and has an understanding of supply chain procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to help create constructive relationships with vendors
- Must be able to work under minimum supervision, independently, dynamic and fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines
- Able to control purchase requisition, purchase orders and other relevant documents
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹8,828.86 - ₹29,195.08 per month
