Job Description for DBA:
Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain database software and related technologies.
- Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect the integrity and availability of our data.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks, such as data purging, index rebuilding, and database reorganization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
- Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay up to date on emerging database technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption where appropriate.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience working as a Database Administrator or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in database design, normalization, and optimization.
- Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with database security concepts and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
