**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and understand the organization's capabilities, ensuring accurate and compelling representation in proposal content.
- Craft well-written and persuasive technical solution narratives that address customer requirements, demonstrate innovation, and highlight the organization's value proposition.
- Develop past performance descriptions that showcase the organization's relevant experience, successful projects, and positive outcomes.
- Write technical sections, including executive summaries, technical approaches, methodologies, and implementation plans, to effectively communicate the proposed solutions.
- Analyze and interpret Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and other solicitation documents to identify technical requirements, evaluation criteria, and proposal instructions.
- Ensure compliance with all technical, contractual, and federal requirements, actively participating in compliance reviews and validation.
- Conduct research and interviews to gather necessary information and technical data for proposal development.
- Review and edit proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance with the RFP and organizational standards.
- Work closely with the proposal manager to meet proposal deadlines and ensure all technical sections are completed on time.
- Participate in color team reviews, incorporating feedback to enhance the technical content's quality and persuasiveness.
- Contribute to proposal process improvement initiatives, including template development, style guide enhancements, and knowledge management.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Technical Writing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline). A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven hands-on experience as a technical writer, preferably in the federal government contracting space.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Familiarity with federal procurement processes, including FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet proposal development milestones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with proposal management tools (e.g., Privia, SharePoint) is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry-standard proposal best practices and writing methodologies.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and effectively communicate them to various audiences.
