**Proposal Writer**

Summary:
The Proposal Writer will work with different technical teams (e.g., pre-sales, technical operations and managed services, security, storage, development) and project management to develop, write, and/or edit technical documents in accordance with customer requirements. The Proposal Writer will research and gather technical and background information for inclusion in the proposal response.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess and understand Request for Proposals or other solicitation documentation for technical response requirements.
- Research, analyze, and identify relevant company proposal materials.
- Write clear, persuasive content based on knowledge, research, or input from SMEs.
- Review content for compliance, quality, and accuracy
- Establish business relationships with key contributing organizations throughout the company, including marketing, business development, sales, operations, and others, as required.
- Work with manager to escalate issues, review workload, and provide suggestions for continuous improvement to process or writing/editing tools or resources.

Education and Qualifications:

- Professional technical communication skills
- Excellent writing, editorial and proof-reading skills
- Strong working knowledge of style guidelines and industry practices
- Expertise in assessing technical information and writing content suited to a wide audience.
- Superb time management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree and 1-5 years of proposal or technical writing experience in the proposal industry
- Experience preparing proposals, documents, reports, and responses, or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience in effectively writing and editing to include formatting/editing.

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
