Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Teaching: Develop and teach courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, covering topics such as Python programming, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, and Predictive Analysis.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the design and enhancement of the AI and Genomics curriculum, ensuring it remains current with advancements in the field.
- Mentorship: Supervise and mentor students in their research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with faculty members, industry partners, and research centers to advance the field of AI in genomics.
- Grant Writing: Prepare and submit proposals to secure research funding from governmental and private sources.

Qualifications:

- Education: Ph.D. in Genomics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Machine Learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, and Predictive Analysis.
- Teaching: Experience in teaching and curriculum development at the university level.
- Publications: A strong record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields.
- Funding: Proven ability to secure research funding.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postdoctoral experience in AI and genomics or related fields.
- Experience with large-scale genomic data analysis.
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and genomic databases.
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
