**Job Summary**
The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for commercial interior fit-out projects. This role involves vendor management, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and maintaining quality standards while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
**Key Responsibilities Procurement Management**
- Identify and procure materials, fixtures, and fittings required for commercial interior fit-out projects.
- Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and finalize vendor contracts.
- Ensure all purchases meet project specifications, quality standards, and budget constraints.
**Vendor & Supplier Management**
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Maintain and update a database of preferred suppliers and vendors for future projects.
**Inventory & Logistics**
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid project delays.
- Coordinate with warehouse and site teams to ensure proper storage and tracking of materials.
- Oversee logistics and transportation to ensure on-time delivery of materials to project sites.
**Cost Control & Reporting**
- Analyze procurement costs and propose value engineering solutions to optimize spending.
- Track and report purchase orders, payments, and material usage for each project.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate periodic reports for management.
**Compliance & Quality Assurance**
- Ensure all materials and services comply with project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct periodic quality checks and resolve any issues with defective or non-compliant materials.
**Coordination**
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and site engineers to understand material requirements and specifications.
- Communicate with vendors and project teams to resolve procurement-related challenges promptly.
**Key Skills and Competencies**
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of interior fit-out materials, fixtures, and equipment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement for interior fit-out or construction projects.
