**Job Title**: Purchase Executive
**Job Summary**:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for overseeing the purchasing process in the hotel, ensuring the procurement of quality goods and services at the best price. The role involves managing vendor relationships, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to meet the operational needs of the hotel. The Purchase Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining cost-efficiency while ensuring smooth and timely operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Procurement Management**:
- Develop, implement, and maintain procurement strategies that support the hotel's operational needs.
- Oversee the entire purchasing process, from sourcing to delivery.
- Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.
- **Inventory Control**:
- Maintain adequate stock levels of all hotel supplies and materials.
- Monitor and manage inventory to minimize waste, shrinkage, and overstock situations.
- Ensure all inventory records are accurate and up-to-date.
- **Cost Management**:
- Manage purchasing budgets, ensuring that expenditures align with the hotel’s financial goals.
- Conduct cost analysis and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services to avoid delays in hotel operations.
- **Vendor Relations**:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local and national vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Manage vendor performance and resolve issues related to the quality, delivery, or service of products.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:
- Ensure that all purchases comply with company policies and procedures.
- Keep accurate records of all procurement transactions, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier invoices.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and product innovations to provide recommendations to management.
- **Collaboration**:
- Coordinate with different hotel departments (kitchen, housekeeping, front office, etc.) to understand their supply needs and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist with the preparation of the hotel’s annual budget and capital expenditures.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Ensure that all purchased items meet quality standards and hotel requirements.
- Perform quality checks on deliveries to ensure accuracy and condition.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Manager, Procurement Manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes in the hotel industry.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
**Working Conditions**:
- Full-time position.
- Office hours may vary, with occasional weekend or evening shifts required based on hotel needs.

Pay: ₹15,580.98 - ₹35,000.00 per month
