
Production Planning and Inventory Control Officer

Job Responsibilities:
Develop Production Schedules: Create and manage schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order materials, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess.
Optimize Production Processes: Implement improvements in production and inventory processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics to align production plans with broader business objectives.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze production data to identify trends and issues, and prepare reports on key performance metrics for management review.
Ensure Compliance and Quality: Maintain compliance with legal and company standards and uphold product quality throughout the production cycle.
Key Skills:
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management software
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Ability to solve problems effectively and manage time efficiently
Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience in production planning and inventory control in a manufacturing environment
