**Job description**

**Role & responsibilities**
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to identify any deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to assess the quality of incoming ingredients and packaging materials, and address any issues with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and product specifications.
- Train production staff on quality control procedures and best practices, and ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Investigate customer complaints and internal quality incidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during inspections and audits, and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams to support new product development, process optimization, and quality improvement projects.
