**Job Title**: Document Reviewer (Contract Editing & Writing)

**About the role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review, edit, and draft **contracts and business proposals** ensuring legal accuracy and clarity.
- Conduct thorough **document analysis** to identify inconsistencies, errors, or compliance issues.
- Ensure **contracts align** with **New York state laws** and legal best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine legal documentation and ensure compliance.
- Maintain organized records of all reviewed and edited contracts.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Law or a related field**.
- Minimum **1 year of experience** in legal document review, including **6 months of exposure to New York laws**. Related to Business law.
- Strong knowledge of **contract law, legal terminology, and business agreements**.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong **analytical and proofreading skills**.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a **legal outsourcing (LPO) or corporate legal department**.
- Familiarity with legal document management software.
