Consumer Sensory Insights (CSI) Technician - Your future position?

As a Consumer Sensory Insights Technician with Givaudan India, you will assist with the execution of sensory panel evaluation and testing according to set plans, protocols and timings defined by the CSI Analyst and / or CSI Manager. She / He is responsible for the maintenance of the Sensory Lab including managing supplies and materials and for the overall management of sensory evaluation and testing logistics under the supervision of a CSI Analyst or CSI Manager.

In this exciting role you will,

**Manage the Sensory Lab maintenance**

Ensure smooth day to day sensory laboratory operations i.e. support in preparation of the test materials, preparation and distribution of samples

Maintenance of descriptive references for test materials and samples

Manage inventory of supplies and materials for testing execution and ensure appropriate storage of samples, references, material in the Lab

Work together with other CSI team members in order to ensure a safe and clean working environment within Sensory Lab protocols

**Assist with the execution of Sensory evaluation and testing according to set protocols**

Prepare products and material needed for Sensory evaluation and testing according to relevant protocols

Support CSI Analysts / Managers with setting up discrimination sessions as well as main-training internal tasters database

Assist with sensory evaluation and testing sessions timely and against set project plans and schedules

Maintain references for Sensory Panels

Perform Data entry where applicable

**Contribute to CSI customer intimacy**

Ensure that the Sensory Lab always makes for a professional working area and be ready for Lab visits by Customers

Prepare references and material for customer interactions

Act with care in the handling of customer products and Givadan flavours for customers (i.e. photos of products, appropriate preparation of customer products, sourcing of products) etc.

Your professional profile includes:

- Degree in Chemistry / Food Sciences or relevant education will be ideal.
- 1 to 3 yrs Experience in working in a Sensory Lab or food preparation environment
- Experience with data entry and filing
- Knowledge of Sensory softwares a plus
