**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Pastry Creation and Production**:

- Design, prepare, and present a variety of innovative desserts, pastries, cakes, breads, and other baked goods that meet the restaurant’s high standards of taste and presentation.
- Develop and test new dessert recipes that align with the restaurant's evolving menu and guest preferences.
- Ensure consistent quality, texture, and presentation of all desserts and baked goods.
- **Menu Development and Creativity**:

- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to create seasonal dessert menus.
- Incorporate local, fresh, and seasonal ingredients to create unique and sustainable desserts.
- Stay updated with the latest pastry trends and techniques, and introduce new concepts to enhance the restaurant’s dessert offerings.
- **Kitchen Management**:

- Oversee the pastry section of the kitchen, ensuring the efficient and timely production of desserts.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior pastry staff, including Commis Pastry Chefs and Pastry Assistants.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in good working condition, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section at all times.
- **Quality Control**:

- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Ensure that all pastries and desserts are produced according to recipes and standards, with attention to portion sizes, presentation, and taste.
- **Inventory and Ordering**:

- Manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient use of resources.
- Place orders for ingredients and supplies, working within budget constraints while maintaining quality.
- **Cost Control and Budgeting**:

- Monitor and manage food costs in the pastry section, making adjustments as necessary to maintain profitability.
- Maintain portion control and minimize waste by adhering to proper storage and handling guidelines.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Provide exceptional culinary experiences for guests through personalized desserts, special occasion cakes, and other customized pastry offerings.
- Occasionally interact with guests to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
